This isn’t just a dim sum spot; it’s a place that carries the spirit of teahouse culture—a communal gathering filled with familiar flavors and layered textures. Here, the steamer baskets and plates arrive with an unhurried confidence, offering moments of discovery in each dish, from the silky, tender rice rolls to the crisp, savory whispers of fried carrot cake. The aromas and textures mingle effortlessly, drawing people together to reconnect over familiar classics and subtle new twists.

The mood is relaxed yet lively, where groups of friends, families, and even solo diners find their rhythm amid the gentle clatter of porcelain and murmured exchanges. The taste of the dishes was acceptable — some were nice, like porridge and bun. while others were fairly average and could be more flavorful. Service was also okay; staff were polite but not always as attentive, especially when the restaurant got busy.

First impressions after taking the food from the buffet trays: the food were genuinely pleasant. But as we tried more dishes, we gradually became disheartened. The beef balls were a little tough but really beefy, the fried chicken dishes were a little sweet and tasty. The dimsum were okay too, siew mai, the prawn and spinach dumpling, and the fried shrimp dumplings were the nicest. The spring rolls looked impressive but they don’t taste like typical spring rolls. There was a strong herb smell and begrudgingly it tasted like pizza. The ugly ahh fish was mid, the broth tasted like those mala fish you get in chinese shops. (Considering the price of the buffet, the taste is still okay, not very fishy but it was a little spicy.) The rest that werent mentioned were either disappointing or forgettable. The jellyfish was bland, the ice cream puff was sad. The only thing my mom and i could agree on was that the chinese tea and the small bokchoy were nice. Overall it’s an okay place to have tea and chill but do not expect the food to be very good.

Went with family for weekend buffet dinner. Though we reserved, but there was not much crowd and can also walk in. Good amount of dishes for the price point. We enjoyed the fried tilapia and the lemongrass logan jelly dessert was refreshing.

Decor is retro and cool. Food is amazing. Service is impeccable. We were served by Alan who wowed us with excellent service and recommended us a few dishes. We enjoyed our meal immensely. Thank you!

It's good to be back at TungLok Teahouse again for a meal with friends! This restaurant serves consistently fresh, delicious delights (be it dim sum or Hong Kong-styled dishes) with old Hong Kong teahouse vibes. Food is well-cooked with balanced tastes and textures. Its playlist and nostalgic décor 'transport' diners to the lively cha chaan tengs in the city without leaving S'pore. Conveniently located at Square 2, TLT's easily accessible by car or public transport. Overall a good spot for casual meals with family and friends

Came here for the ala carte dinner buffet on a Saturday. Arrived at 6pm without any reservation and was seated in a few minutes. Immediately ordered the dishes on mobile using the QR code after seated. Classic zichar dishes took a long time to arrive but those dim sum dishes arrived very fast. Ordered the diced mala chicken but didn't arrive even after informing the waitress multiple times. The 3 one time dishes were nice and really value for money, especially the abalone. Most of the dishes are small and served individually which is good. Thought the restaurant should already prepare the dishes since it's buffet style. Should be fast to serve the dishes upon ordering, since there is a time limit of 90 mins.
